We have a company of believers we call the Praisers who are set before the congregation in every service to lead the people into praise and worship. As the Praisers are in one accord, directing the people’s attention to the Lord, we can expect some unusual and wonderful things to transpire.
The Praisers meet weekly to seek the Lord’s face regarding the music in the services. They know that this is not a performance, but rather their gifting is there to minister to the Lord in song and to lead others in heartfelt worship
The goal and purpose of this ministry is to teach and reach the lost with the Good News of the Gospel by sharing love through Benevolence, Prison Ministry, and Outreach. They also have the ability to use creative and unique techniques that bring the Word of God to life by drawing those who need to be snatched out of darkness and brought into His marvelous light. The ministry will engage in outreach at parks, schools, apartment complexes, and local communities.
Jesus said, “Forbid not the little ones to come unto me and woe to anyone who would offend one of my little ones.” Our ministry is to equip and disciple God’s upcoming army that will usher in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do this through high-energy praise and worship, puppet shows, drama skits, movies, crafts, memory verses, incentives for participation, God inspired “curriculum”.
We are showing them how to prepare their hearts to receive from the Lord and to be led by the Spirit. The children are taught the principles of giving and receiving through tithes and offerings.
Our Marriage Ministry provides opportunities for couples to engage in discussions and activities focused on married life and relationships through biblical principles and application as God intended. Ephesians 5:31 says, “For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”. We seek to assist couples in cultivating strong marriages that bring glory to God and influence our society in a positive way.
We at NGCC hold ourselves to the highest standard of integrity as we know God will judge us. You can rest assured that whatever seed, tithe, first fruits, or ministry gifts you release to
us, will be used appropriately.
Our youth are engaged with youth leaders who assist youth personnel with strengthening their relationship with Christ through scripture memorization, meditation, and sound biblical teaching in a way that prepares our teens to successfully live in and engage the world of today. We model Acts 2:42 by making disciples, helping them become the church by loving one another, growing with one another, praying for one another, and outreaching with one another. Prov 22:6 says, “We’re to train up our youth in the way they should go when they become older, they’ll not depart from it”. Ultimately, our goal is to equip our youth to live lives that point others to Christ and trust in Christ as not only Savior, but the end all be all to life.
Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry Team specializes in prayer and standing in the gap on behalf of others and their needs. We sincerely believe that God has called each of us to pray and intercede at some level or another within our church, community, and city at large. As Intercessors, we are now a Royal Priesthood and a Kingdom of Priests because Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father forever interceding for us. God has called us to partner with Him in interceding for others (Heb 7:25 and 1 Pet 2:9). We form a battle rhythm of constant, corporate, and concentrated prayer and intercession that prepares us to experience the manifest Presence and Glory of God. Lastly, intercessory prayer pushes back the forces of darkness out of our communities and provokes God’s Kingdom to come and invade our cities.
The Media Ministry serves as an evangelistic extension of the Church that focuses on spreading the Word of God through media means while seeking to enhance the praise and worship experience. Our Media Team extends the fruit of the Word to the Body of Christ through a coalescing of technologies with the use of digital services, video streaming, videography, photography, Internet, sound, graphics, and projection. Lastly, it provides technical support to other ministry events throughout the year.
